CLASSES AT KIOSK?

Written on January 23, 2011 by Alisa

Hi

Before I check out to India I wanted to put one thing out there. We are considering offering classes at KIOSK in the space we recently took over from Areaware, our former roommates. So far I have two cooking classes and possibly one sewing class lined up. Would you like to teach a class? Do you know of a class you think we should hold? The concept is 2 hour to two day workshops. If you have some thoughts please pass them on! Thanks! Alisa

Hi Alisa — I’ve actually been looking for a space to host occasional calligraphy workshops — relaxed format, maybe 2 hours or so. I think it could be a great fit, sorta Kiosk-y! The focus would be on modern, expressive calligraphy — using tools and methods to create fun lettering, inspired from your own personal style. Please let me know if you want to chat some more about it.

Thanks! Love the blog, the shop, the everything.

How about a terrarium class? I think Wongoers would be down to teach that.

    🙂
