The Hau Tree Lanai Restaurant at the Kaimana New Otani Hotel in Waikiki serves a breakfast I dream about all year!  Fresh pineapple, poi pancakes with coconut syrup, Portuguese sausage, and macadamia crusted french toast.. all under the magnificently twisted hau tree on the beach.. the decor is pure pink and white – how fancy! And the servers are very kind and attentive – even to beach bums like me.
