The little Piano that is no more
Written on October 16, 2009 by mimecine
Goodbye little piano, we hate to say goodbye… The little piano is no more for us at KIOSK as the manufacturer is sold out of our model until March of 2010. Why? Because according to an employee of Schoenhut for the first time Target, JC Penny, Coles, etc have added it into their selection? Why? Because according to the employee KIOSK got some nice press and attention for the model and since we are considered to be a “trendsetter” in the industry this is likely the reason the Big Brothers added it in. It’s nice getting screwed by someone you support, kind of like helping a partner through University and when they get tenure they leave you for an 18 year old student. I want all of our makers and suppliers to do well and better and better but they should also care about the interests of the little guys who helped them. Why not think of us at the same time you are filling the big guys orders? Marco says it’s “just business” I guess I want something more… Now if JC Penny can’t sell the model we had such good luck with they will dump the product on deep discount and never stock it again, we won’t either. It is a lose / lose for all. Short-sighted and boring. A real lame-ass move. “Oh, but there are plenty of other great models to choose from.” Adios Amigo
.
that’s fine. I am sure your producer looses more than you.
a lesson well teached wisely, nevermind.
your wisdom will win. and the product you just promoted has already and surely changed its way to be produced and therefore its main qualities.
One care you have to mentioned basically are the people behind the objects you are selling.
It reveals definitively an ethical attitude and you can be sure that depending of who managed the object porduction and sales you will avoid further issues as you are mentioning above.
thank you for Kiosk.
