I say out them- it's not wrong to put this persons comments on your blog- give us all a good laugh- Matt, it's virtually impossible to address the complaints of people like this! This customer might one day be on database for 'annoying and rude customers- don't bother serving them'. It's people like this that will eventually (and I honestly hope that this DOESN"T happen) make a place like Kiosk finally say that they're not shipping at all! From someone in another country I get quite upset when a company tells me that 'they'd love to ship but people complained about shipping costs'.
For the record, I loved Kiosk! I went out of my way to find it when I came to NY, I'll recommend people to go and I will, of course, return myself! I didn't find it a rip off- i found it quite reasonable. And the 'telephone people' (what is THAT?) were all very pleasant!
cheers- sonia

That's a perfect sample of what life is about when you decide your's is not a business but a way of living! It's just about human behaviour. But I'm sure you'll get what you want by posting all this e-mail exchange here: everyone will understand what Kiosk is about.
I did the same with a guest complain. Just posted the story on my blog so everyone can see what myhomeinlisbon is not about. And as a way to discover what it really is.
That simple. That clear. That's life!
Kissis from me & hugs from Lola!

OMG. This is hilarious. I have only had a few of these kind of responses to my work when I ship, but they totally rattle me! There are so many complex things to running a shop, even more complex when your shop is also your art practice, and a mode of inquiry/exploration. There are probably hundreds of people who love what they get to every one or two who respond like this.

HI Matt,
I talked to the customer and she hung up on me when I tried to explain to her we don't calculate the shipping, it runs automatically through a shipping module and is based on the dimension & weight of the box and the location the box is being shipped to. We don't add on extra fees, say for handling, we charge customers what the shipping company says we are charged. I think the bigger issue is why complain after you accept the charge? She knew the shipping fee she was charged and paid it willingly. And why launch into a critique of the makers work to me, if you don't like it, you don't like it, then ask to return it! We would take it back, instead the customer decided to criticize the quality and also stated we were deliberately overcharging her, that's not appropriate, as we do not overcharge. I know it's not good to post complaints but I have to wonder, why do people think they can do and say anything they like to someone who is selling them something? Having a store has given me a rude eye opening on human behavior.

You post customer complaints on your blog instead of trying to right them? Good luck!
