back in new york and looking at books

If you find time on your hands a great place to blow some hours is Left Bank Books at 304 W. 4th Street, near Bank, New York City, 212 924-5638. They have a collection of first editions you know you need but never knew existed. Some nice art catalogs but the literary selection had me swooning divine, ditto on architecture. Although I was unable to make a purchase today there were at least 8 different editions I could have happily added into my library. Hopefully one at a time if you do not beat me there first! Not everything is so terribly expensive; this year the only gift I plan on giving is books, this is a good place to go to for inspiration and to support. Try them!
