a customer asked me for a place to eat gnocchi in new york city, does anyone have a suggestion? I could only recommend a good diner to her, Polish-American, the best:

challah french toast, fresh juices, omelettes (favorite is spinach/feta), soups, great staff, no meat!!!

orchard just south of houston…. it’s the real deal.

Frank on 2nd ave and 5th st. there’s plain and a special spinach one once a week.

bianca on bleecker between bowery and lafayette OR max on avenue b between 3rd and 4th streets. both very cheap, usually crowded, and always amazing gnocchi.
