Kiosk Hello

Hi, this is Alisa. To start, I would like to intro­duce the KIOSK team and par­tic­i­pants, these are friends who have all helped the shop for lim­ited funds or for free since we started in Decem­ber 2005. Ross Menuez (www.​salvor​pro​jects.com) does all the graph­ics and shop design with us, pho­tog­ra­pher Keetja Allard (www.​keet​jaal​lard.com) pro­vides con­stant good input, the writer Yuki Matsuo han­dles the shop and goods from Japan, Marco Romeny, my hus­band, does every­thing from pro­gram­ming to mop­ping, Fran Pol­litt shoots all the studio shots of the prod­ucts (www.​france​spol​litt.com), famous Ega Hiroshi is our Tokyo con­tact, the graphic designer Judith Rytz is our Stock­holm help for Sweden, Mau and Tony (www.​dfcasa.com) put us up in Mexico City and are our Mexico team, friends Kirsty and Burkhard hosted us in Berlin and pro­vided infi­nite advice, guid­ance and opin­ion on the German goods, Annette and Oliver have a bril­liant shop named Kwik­shop in Berlin (www.​kwik​shop.de), they are our German team. I’m the shop­keeper, buyer, researcher, clean­ing lady, etc etc. So you see, KIOSK is a bunch of people making this col­lec­tion of goods happen.
