Why we are doing this…

kiosk signHi, this is KIOSK HELLO, the info cen­ter for the shop KIOSK. It’s a place to share our resources, tips, point­ers, inspi­ra­tion, opin­ions, highs and lows we find or expe­ri­ence while trav­el­ing or in daily life. So you can look up where we ate in Berlin, shopped in Köln, how (lit­er­ally) we drove to a really remote vil­lage in Chi­a­pas and how we got ripped off by a taxi the day before, what we saw there, what blew our minds and what did not, where to stay in San Cristo­bal, what to look for in Dalarna, Swe­den or a cheap ryokan in Tokyo. Basi­cally some ram­bling thoughts and finds, a liv­ing guide­book. Beyond shar­ing our infor­ma­tion, I mean why keep all these beau­ti­ful things to one­self?, what we are really hop­ing for is that peo­ple who know our shop will add in their own tips and that when we are research­ing a coun­try we can write a shout-out. Please! help us help you. Please! help us! But please, no wor­ries about gram­mar, punc­tu­a­tion, spelling, etc. and don’t expect too much either, some days we will post a num­ber of entries at other times not much may be hap­pen­ing . This is a strait-forward, hope­fully inter­est­ing data­base of infor­ma­tion to take from and add to as you please. Take it easy, enjoy… HELLO? HELLO! HELLO HELLO

    When Kiosk was Swe­den, I had the good for­tune to buy a horse­hair cof­fee pot brush, which is now an inde­spen­si­ble item in my kitchen, mainly because it works won­ders clean­ing my Chemex cof­fee pot. I always look for­ward to each change of sea­son at Kiosk, because perus­ing is such fun.
